Driven by a 1500 hp gas turbine engine, a US Army tank reaches cross-country speeds of 30 mph and road speeds of 45 mph. 

The tracks on the tank are the "road" on which the 70 ton vehicle rolls. 

Each track (left and right) consists of 156 track blocks linked together to form a continuous "loop."
